Connecting With Respect

We Prioritize Health and Safety

At Panduit, safety is non-negotiable. We believe our people are our most valuable resource. That’s why we are uncompromising in our commitment to doing what’s right when it comes to protecting people.

Safety is everyone’s responsibility. Our goal is to protect the health and safety of employees, customers, and any other visitors to our facilities. All employees are responsible for working safely to prevent injuries to themselves and others.

  • Know the emergency and security procedures that apply to your role and never attempt to bypass or work around them for the sake of convenience or efficiency. Remember to use the STOP WORK Procedure if something is unsafe.
  • Customer safety extends beyond our four walls. Proper handling and use of our solutions should be evident to our partners and downstream parties that transport, install, and maintain our solutions in production environments.
  • Never check email, the internet, or text messages while driving or walking at work. These distractions put you and others at risk.
  • Never let your performance be impaired by alcohol or drugs, including over the counter and prescription medications.
  • Immediately report all potential hazards and all accidents and injuries, no matter how minor, or report them as soon as reasonably possible to do so safely.

Our workplace is no place for violence. Be aware, our Workplace Anti-Violence Policy prohibits violence of any kind, including verbal or physical threats, dangerous horseplay, bullying, stalking, property destruction, or vandalism. We also prohibit the possession or use of weapons on company property, including firearms (unless they are carried by authorized Panduit security personnel). Watch for and report weapons or any warning signs of violence.

Can we talk?

If you suspect a manager or coworker is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, you should take immediate action. If you’re comfortable doing so, talk to your manager first. If not—or if there is an immediate safety risk—immediately report the issue to another manager or Human Resources. Even if this behavior isn’t habitual, it’s still dangerous.
Yes. Even minor injuries must be reported to your supervisor. This will ensure that an investigation happens to help the company determine if we need to correct the issue that caused the cut. It will also help with documentation if further medical treatment is needed due to an infection.
No, you shouldn’t. We take threats seriously. They won’t be excused or overlooked just because someone claims they were joking. Report this incident immediately so we can address it and prevent future incidents.
