Connecting With Our Business

We Avoid Conflicts of Interest

Our personal interests must never harm Panduit. We are deeply committed to our company, so we must avoid situations that might cause others to question that commitment. Because conflicts of interest come between us and Panduit, they can influence our judgment, harming both our company and our reputation.

To avoid conflicts of interest, we must recognize them. Conflicts aren’t always easy to spot, but they typically center around something that is (or appears to be) good for you or someone close to you but bad for Panduit. These situations come in many different forms and may involve:

Hiring, managing, making employment decisions for, or directing Panduit business to a spouse, partner, or relative (including children, parents, siblings, in-laws, domestic partners, or anyone you are cohabitating with or having an intimate personal relationship with).
Taking on a second job or some other position that could take away from your job at Panduit or impact your loyalty to the company.
Offering or accepting gifts, entertainment, or other benefits that violate our Gift and Entertainment Policy.
Discovering a business opportunity meant for Panduit and taking it for yourself.
Investing in, working for, or owning a company that either competes with Panduit or does business with Panduit.

If it looks like a conflict, we need to know. If a situation even suggests there might be a conflict, you must disclose it to Panduit as soon as you’re aware of it. Complete a Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form and send it to your manager so we can help you determine if there is a conflict and resolve it before harm is done.

Panduit needs to determine if it’s OK. Disclose this relationship right away. We need to make sure any purchasing decisions you make for us are objective and free from bias or personal gain.
