Connecting With Ethics

We Know the Code

Since our founding in 1955, Panduit has been a forward-looking company that prides itself on creating innovative technology solutions. But as we continue to look toward the future, our commitment to making Ethical Connections also remains a constant.

In every connection we make, integrity is the first link. Our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct strengthens that connection. It equips you with the tools and information to:

Live our values. Follow our policies. Navigate difficult situations. Speak up about concerns. Find resources for help. Make good decisions.

As you read the Code, you’ll find answers to some of the most important questions you’ll face during your time at Panduit. Of course, no Code can cover every possible workplace issue. If you can’t find what you need, contact any of the resources listed in the Code for help.

A: If you work for Panduit in any way, this Code is for you. Every employee, anywhere in the world, whether full- or part-time, consultant, contingent worker, or board member, must know and follow the Code. The Code applies to us whenever and wherever we’re working—when we’re in our facilities, working remotely, or traveling. And because our business partners work on our behalf, we also expect them to share our commitment to the highest ethical standards by following our Supplier Code of Conduct and our Business Partner Code of Ethics, showing integrity in every action.
A: When someone violates our Code, they violate our trust. They also break the connections we’ve made with each other and our customers. That’s why Panduit takes violations of our Code, policies, or the law seriously. They can result in disciplinary action—even dismissal. If a law is broken, it can lead to more serious consequences, including criminal or civil penalties for those involved, as well as our company.
A: Our Code comes first. Neither your manager nor anyone else may ask or encourage you to do something that violates our Code, policies, or the law. Speak up if this happens.
A: It is. Once you’re aware of misconduct, you have a responsibility to speak up about it. You could face disciplinary action for failing to report known misconduct.
A: Laws change often. When they do, we may revise the Code or our policies. Refer to the Code often to stay current.
A: No—it applies wherever you are: whether you’re working from home or in a coffee shop, traveling for business, attending work-related functions, or representing Panduit in any way.
